Verisoft have developed the EMV card issuance system and fully certified with TEKSTILBANK VISA EMV VSDC cards with a new product logo +ARTAN.
Verisoft PowerEMV solution used in this project drives Datacard 9000 embosser with GEN2E 7-station smartcard personalisation module. EMV data is generated by Cryptomathic Cardink software using IBM 4758 HSM. This software also manages the keys and certificates between issuers and card schemes.
PowerEMV is a state of the art TCP/IP networked oriented platform solution for personalising EMV and LOYALTY cards. In this model all smartcard electrical personalisation is driven by Window 2000 Server. Hence, new card implementation becomes a matter of C++ programming on Windows.
TEKSTILBANK is managing all its VISA and MASTERCARD issuing and acquiring business with VERISOFT POWERCARDIX software based on ORACLE and UNIX. In this context, HP 9000 N-CLASS servers with HP-UX 11 are used. Currently all VISA and MASTERCARD products are issued and accepted with signature and PIN.
With the +ARTAN project TEKSTILBANK moves into the EMV world as being the first bank in Turkey to issue a VISA EMV VSDC card.
+ARTAN implemented with Gemplus GemVision EMV cards is a multiapplication card with EMV credit and Loyalty/Installment.
Every purchase transaction is awarded with loyalty points on the chip. Cardholders have the option to cash out the points from the chip on their next purchase. Customers also have the option to purchase with interest free equal monthly installments. Number of points awarded or interest free installments are parametrically decided by each merchant.
+ARTAN project is valuable combining EMV and VERISFOT LOYALTY in one single card, in the pocket.
